Our Sensory Scramble is back!

Our team is ready and raring to go as we prepare for this year's Sensory Scramble!

Over the past few weeks, staff have been busy planning, creating, and coming up with new ideas to make this year's activities even more engaging and enjoyable for the children. Sensory exploration is already a big part of everyday life at Stepping Stones, but Sensory Scramble gives us an opportunity to get even more creative and introduce some new experiences for the children to discover.

The team always throws themselves into Sensory Scramble, and the planning is often just as exciting as the week itself! We've been gathering resources, testing activities, and sharing ideas as we prepare for a week of exploring, movement, play, and sensory fun.

As always, the team have also been thinking carefully about the children they'll be welcoming throughout the week. Activities have been adapted and planned to ensure every child can take part in a way that feels right for them, helping to create positive experiences that build on their interests, strengths, and curiosity.

Throughout the week, the children will take part in a range of sensory challenges and activities, both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting!).

As part of the week, we're also inviting family and friends to sponsor the children taking part. Last year's Sensory Scramble raised over £400, helping us purchase new resources for our playrooms.

As a small independent charity, support like this makes a real difference. Every donation helps us continue providing sensory toys, equipment, and experiences for the children who attend Stepping Stones.

If you'd like to support the children taking part in our Sensory Scramble, you can make a donation here.

A huge thank you to everyone who sponsors, donates, and cheers us on. We can't wait to see where the week takes us!
