50th Celebration Ball: A Night to Remember at Stepping Stones Trowbridge

We’re still smiling from our 50th Celebration Ball - it truly was a special night, and we feel incredibly lucky to have shared it with so many friends, families, supporters, and members of the Stepping Stones community who have walked alongside us over the decades. Once you’re part of Stepping Stones, it never really leaves you, and the warmth in the room was a beautiful reminder of that.

Although fundraising wasn’t the main reason for coming together, we’re absolutely thrilled to share that, thanks to your kindness and generosity, we raised over £1,400 in one evening! Our live auction brought so much energy (and a bit of friendly competition!) to the room, with fantastic prizes donated by our amazing supporters. Our charity packs were a huge success too — and a big congratulations to the winner of the £150 Serenity Beauty voucher!

We were also delighted to welcome so many familiar faces and long-time supporters, including Danone, who have supported us for decades through their wonderful Christmas parties and donations to specialist projects; Trevor Heeks, Trowbridge Town Crier, who kindly led our auction; his wife Lillian; and Councillor Kate Bessant, Deputy Mayor of Bradford on Avon. We were grateful to be joined by families past and present, former and current employees, children who attended Stepping Stones over the decades, fundraising champions, and of course, our wonderful team.
