Supporting Play, Thanks to Westbury Town Council

Last week we were invited to Westbury Town Council’s Grants Award Evening and were very thankful to be among the recipients. Mayor Jane Russ is no stranger to our playrooms as she has chosen us to be her charity for a second year. We were alongside other wonderful charities, all working for the good of their community. We were all invited to share what our charity was and it was a warm reminder of the community we’re proud to be a part of.

The grant we received will go a long way to funding some additions to our playroom: adjustable tables for our children, and a Lecky Pal Chair which is a safe, adjustable seat with supportive features that help children sit comfortably and aid concentration. Making sure that children can sit comfortably with the correct support can help with fatigue and allow them to concentrate on the job at hand, learning whilst they play.
