Debbie's Updates Sept. 2025

Everyone here is looking forward to the term ahead and celebrating a new exciting phase at Stepping Stones.

Aby Cooper has now joined the team as our Centre Manager and will be familiarising herself with this valuable role over the next few months. Aby is herself the parent of a child who attended Stepping Stones so understands first hand, the many joys and challenges that can come with supporting a child with additional needs.

Judy Hennessey and Helen Norcott who you will know as our Playroom Manager’s will now be job sharing the role of Inclusion Manager. This role leads on our EYFS and Ofsted childcare and child development roles and responsibilities.

We are also delighted to welcome back Chrissy D’Arcy who after a period away has rejoined our team as a Senior SEND practitioner.

We are thinking of the 40 children and their families who left us in July to start their reception year at school. Please share with us your photo’s of this special event and keep us informed of how well you are all doing.

The Play rooms are currently busy with the 69 children and families who are accessing sessions this term at Stepping Stones. The team are enthusiastically planning activities to entice children to better communicate and learn through play.

Parents and Carers please look out for the information and advice we will be sharing on your child’s Tapestry account.
