On 27th September, our incredible supporter, Ian will be cycling all the way from his front door in Melksham to Weymouth – raising vital funds for Stepping Stones.
He’s taking on this challenge for deeply personal reasons:
In tribute to his son Dowie, who shows every day that having Trisomy 8 doesn’t stop him from being inspirational, teaching lessons, and being plain cool.
For his daughter Jasmine, who is currently going through her autism diagnosis journey.
For himself, as an autistic man who grew up in a time when charities like Stepping Stones simply didn’t exist.
And most of all – for the unnamed and unknown families who will one day need the life-changing support that Stepping Stones provides.
Every mile he pedals will help children with SEND and their families get the very best start in life.
