COVID-19 UPDATE (23.3.20)
Good morning, please find attached a link to the most recent Government information regarding vulnerable children and children with an EHC plan. Please see section 20.
Stepping Stones recognizes that every child we work with is vulnerable, but we also recognize that the families we work with, by exception, have caring homes that provide the best places for those children to stay safe. Please be assured of our willingness to help provide support to all of our families while providing you with the best advice.
THE ADVICE IS THAT EVERY CHILD THAT CAN BE SAFELY CARED FOR AT HOME SHOULD BE.
Be assured that we will continue to identify and support solutions that will allow our parents as Keyworkers to continue to work.
Please contact us if you have any concerns regarding arrangements for your child.
Stepping Stones is an Opportunity Group for children with special needs in the West Wiltshire area. “Special Needs” being the term we use for identifying children who will benefit from specific therapy and support to help meet their potential. Children from birth to five, with varying levels of need attend the group. Stepping Stones operates as the District Specialist Centre for West Wiltshire.
Parents are welcome to contact us directly, but most children have been referred to Stepping Stones by a Paediatrician, Health Visitor or other professional.
Children come here to have a fuller assessment of their needs and to be helped and encouraged to learn and develop through play.
