At the end of the ride if you wish to, you can join everyone back at The Boathouse where you will be able to buy food and drink and swap stories of the fun you had taking part in GMBR.

The Cause:

This year GMBR is raising very much needed funding for two charities - Stepping Stones and Scope:

Stepping Stones is a District Specialist Centre for children who have Special Needs. Children come to Stepping Stones from the entire West Wiltshire area and it provides practical information and support to the children and their families.  Stepping Stones have to rely on the very generous support of the local community in order to keep the group running.

Scope is the charity that aims to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else and needs your support to help achieve this.

Whilst there is no registration fee or charge to take part in GMBR, we do ask each rider to try and raise sponsorship if possible. Alternatively you are very welcome to simply make a donation and then ride.

You can download a sponsorship form here so that you can collect sponsorship money from friends, family and colleagues.

People can also donate online via: LocalGiving also allows you to set up your own collection page so you can track how much you personally collect - it only takes 4 or 5 minutes to set up!
