To ensure the safety of our families and their children and all who work at Stepping Stones we will continue to monitor and adapt our service in line with the latest Public Health guidelines and recommendations.
Our priority is to provide a safe environment for the children who attend Stepping Stones and those who work to provide specialist support for them. To minimise the risk of spreading or contracting Covid19 Stepping Stones has implemented a range of protective measures.
Sessions are open and we will notify you if this situation should change. To restrict spread of the virus, children at this time, are advised NOT to attend more than one setting. Presently a space in our sessions is restricted to children who ONLY attend Stepping Stones. Shared placements will resume when it is considered safe for a child to attend more than one setting.
Assessment places and Outreach Support remain and are available to children in consultation with the requirements of any existing childcare arrangements.
Children should not be sent into Stepping Stones if they appear unwell and not less than 48 hrs after having sickness and/or diarrhoea.
Children should not attend Stepping Stones if any member of their family is self isolating and/or presenting with symptoms of Covid19.
Covid19 precautions currently restrict access to our building. We welcome you to review our Covid19 Visitors protocol here.
Please do not hesitate to contact Stepping Stones if you wish to discuss any concerns or query any of our arrangements as we endeavour to respond to changing requirements and provide a valued service in these more challenging times.
Stepping Stones is registered with Ofsted and received a rating of Outstanding from our most recent inspection in 2020...
